Mennonites led large marijuana smuggling ring

A group of Mennonites with Mexican and Canadian citizenship formed a major marijuana smuggling pipeline between Canada and the United States. Heinrich Redekopp 40 and Peter Bartsch 54 of Cottam Ontario and Peter Penner 29 of Leamington Ontario received concurrent seven year sentences for conspiracy to import a narcotic and five years for possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking. All three were born in Mexico and hold dual citizenships.

Harris Cuts Taxes in Ontario Budget Plan
