Two arrested after blue pickup stolen in Medicine Hat

Medicine Hat Police say two men were arrested after a blue pickup was stolen at 3:11 a.m. Tuesday. The truck was found at a Carry Drive 7-11 with two men. the driver was arrested at the store, the passenger fled but was later captured after a foot chase. The truck was recovered undamaged. Names withheld. both men in custody awaiting bail. The driver faces an impaired charge.

Collision sends one to hospital near Medicine Hat

Medicine Hat police are investigating a motor vehicle collision on Box Springs Road two kilometres north of the Canadian Fertilizers plant. A Harley Davidson motorcycle left the roadway after colliding with a parked vehicle, ending in the ditch. The rider suffered head trauma and was taken to Medicine Hat hospital. injuries’ extent was not yet known.

A stray bullet from a firing range pierced a Lethbridge home and may have come from police firearms during mandatory qualifications.
