A travelling inspector for Saskatchewan and Alberta will handle outbreaks and report to Perry if unable to attend. The suit against Employers Liability Kettle Co. over an August incident resulted in damages of 1500. An employee was injured when a dispatcher’s orders caused a fall. fault lies with the dispatcher’s miscommunication.

James Dolphin, once a resident of Medicine Hat for eight to ten years, was shot in a Helena boarding house on April 13 near the Northern Pacific depot. The coroner’s inquest ruled murder, with Dolphin dying April 21 at St. John’s Hospital. A widow and three children are left in poverty. Medicine Hat Lodge covered funeral expenses.
