British raids hit Stanley airfield in Falklands attack

British Vulcan bombers and Sea Harrier jets attacked the Argentine held airfield at Stanley early today in two raids. Defence Ministry said all aircraft and personnel returned safely. In London sources said 450 kilogram bombs and rockets likely used to destroy ground targets and defend against grounded Argentine aircraft.

Reagan backs Britain and abandons neutrality in Falklands crisis

Alsands collapse ends Alberta megaproject hopes
