The W M S of Medicine Hat Presbyterian church invites all to enter handicrafts antiques and curios for the arts and crafts exhibition on May 12 Coronation Day at the Glasgow House and the remaining days of the week.
Ottawa report to the House of Commons cites a Department of Trade and Commerce estimate placing Canada’s population around 14.1 million in 1987. It recalls the 1931 census value 10,376,786 and notes births minus deaths then at about 135,956 yearly, with 1921–1931 immigration 1,166,290 and natural increase about 1,362,000.
