London Ont Mar 29 Geo Cirrac a former boyfriend went to his former sweetheart home last night and threatened to shoot her and a rival in love. He was jailed for a week. Carfrae said Cirrac aimed only to scare the girl into going to the theatre with William Armstrong.
Union meeting in Saskatoon with about seventy five Methodists and Presbyterians from six churches endorses a plan to build three large churches in the city to replace six smaller ones. A twelve member committee was deferred after Rev W W Abbott argued boards should select representatives. Mr and Mrs W T Hoover of Swift Current are visiting.
Friederichshaven reports Count Zeppelin's airship completed eight maiden flights today replacing the Deutschland. The earlier craft crashed near Teutoburgian forest on June 26 last, with its motors and vertical steering plants salvaged for the successor.

The vanguard of 1911 United States settlers arrived in Winnipeg at 1.30 this morning with 41 carloads of gear and two colonist sleepers. Twenty five families, all skilled farmers, moved quickly to reach land purchased last year. They brought machinery, horses, cattle, and gas trac tors ready to start breaking the virgin prairie, with an estimated value of $100,000.
Antwerp reports migration shift seriously hits Atlantic steamship lines. Red Star ships Gothland and Samland transfer from Antwerp to Rotterdam Canada routes. About 1300 immigrants bound for Canada await transport. U S bound immigration also declines.

CEO J D McGregor just returned from London to coordinate with Canadian Wheat Lands Company directors and attend the company's annual meeting. A film program tonight showcases Thomas A Becket in a London origin story with clergy king clashes, followed by outdoor drama and a comedy as Dreamland observes.
At Langvale Manitoba on March 29 the Dunrea Grain Growers Association passed a unanimous resolution condemning the Manitoba Legislature for opposing reciprocity with the United States. The group says the Legislature misrepresented elector views and could have acted more wisely.
In New York Mrs Dorothy Kuhn 24 of St Nicholas avenue and Mrs Elsie Drew Hotel Maryland 104 West Forty-ninth street were jailed for disorderly conduct after a late night clash on Sixth Avenue. Kuhn said she feared Drew would find her address amid a heated exchange over reciprocity and political loyalties. Both were taken to Women's Night Court. The scene quickly shifts to a Canadian political note as Borden faces pressure over reciprocity and Conservative opposition fractures.
A trolley collision at Lorimer and Powers Streets Brookyln late last night injured four men severely and mortally and left one man with a skull fracture and internal injuries. The wagon driver Joseph Fein Nathan Miller Samuel Schiff and Herman Trencher were aboard a Taub Brothers wagon en route to Manhattan. The waggon was struck by the speeding car resulting in the wreck and injuries.
Ottawa reports a clash within the Conservative party as a conspirator seeks to depose R L Borden from leadership. A morning conference hints at withdrawal amid disloyalty and factional strife among followers. Premiers McBride and Whitney reject appeals. a round robin urges Borden to stay. Opposition remains wholly demoralized.
The fire swept state Capitol in Albany is being rehabitated with crews digging out undamaged sections while flames still smolder. Officials estimate reconstruction at about four million dollars and urge authorization of rebuilding plans for the ruined third and fourth floors. The state carried no insurance.
George McTavish of Seven Persons said local farmers were highly satisfied with the recent seed grain distribution. He praised the grain quality and the orderly execution of the distribution in that area.
Halifax Nova Scotia March 29 after a four hour debate the Nova Scotia Legislature endorsed the reciprocity agreement by a 31 to 4 vote and sent the measure forward.
The American Peace Arbitration League directors at their New York meeting sent President Taft a congratulatory letter for progress in the world peace movement. The message commends the United States and Great Britain for definite action toward a permanent all inclusive arbitration treaty between their two nations.
Edward W. Lee, paymaster's clerk aboard the battleship Georgia, vanished with 49000 dollars after midnight Feb 17 at Guantanamo Bay. March 2 he registered in Atlanta as A W Carmichael and spent lavishly before moving toward New York. Agents push pursuit across routes, tracing bills and drafts stolen from the ship's pay office.
Evelyn Arthur Lee, described as a revealer of the absolute life and head of a group of girls found with him in a north side flat, was released on a reduced bail bond after a writ of habeas corpus. Lee, questioned by Judge Tuthill about his cult, said he was a Harvey Illinois newspaper editor when he was inspired and rejected conventional laws including marriage and business.
Washington reports a reduction of schedule K the wool portion of the Payne Tariff law is set ahead of reciprocity in the new House tariff program. Canadian reciprocity will be taken up after the war schedule is lowered but experts foresee a lengthy struggle over schedule K likely delaying reciprocity approval.
Winnipeg report says Chevalier Jean F. Stranggard a medical specialist once touted as patronized by European royalty was fined twenty five dollars and costs in police court for two breaches of the Medical Act.

Mr W S Curry sold another Clydesdale stallion from Scotland. John Dey of Red Deer bought the black two year old Buchlyvie Boy 12165 16140 bred by William Dunlop of Killeekie Crosshill Maybole Ayrshire. Dam and sire lines cited with Baron Buchlyvie noted.
A March 27 Whitla gathering at the Whitla Townsite Company offices organized a Board of Trade with over twenty attendees. Twenty-one members elected officers: President O C Helgerson Vice President A A Ashton Secretary treasurer C N Olson. An executive committee includes the president secretary treasurer and three others Richardson Saunders Carson.
Medicine Hat Masonic Lodge No. 2 held its annual Past Masters night with about sixty five masons in attendance including twelve Past Masters and two presiding Masters. Two craftsmen received the Master Mason's Degree and the officers were led by W M C E Smyth with S M H W Ireland J M W N Adsit D G Geo Murray I D F G Forster S S W Thos Mcffray J S W Jesse Elliott. The gathering featured a luncheon and toasts to Visiting Past Masters Visiting Brethren Mizpah Lodge and The Youngest Craftsmen. It was the longest Masonic gathering since King Edward VII memorial service.
The Alberta attorney general approves Edmonton and Regina appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada after the railway commission ordered freight rate cuts from the east. Winnipeg is argued to receive favored treatment due to a long standing Manitoba agreement. The Edmonton board of trade urged government action to share appeal costs.
