In Belfast and London reports Britain and France pledge total war if needed. Leslie Burgin says Allied victory is likely and outlines a broader war effort, with armament orders in Northern Ireland and plans for a semi permanent wartime alliance.

Berlin authorities released six documents from the Polish foreign office archives in Warsaw claiming to reveal American policy toward Germany. The papers name Roosevelt Kennedy Bullitt and Eden among others and include alleged confidential reports from Polish envoys and a 1938 Potocki dispatch. The Berlin comment frames the documents as shedding light on Western powers preparing for war and arming against Nazi Germany.
At the Canadian Legion monthly meeting a report showed $1,850.65 raised for War Services with funds deposited in local banks. The Vimy church parade is scheduled for St Barnabas on April 7, donations list available, and volunteers urged to submit names for recruitment.
Turkish military quarters say full agreement with British and French chiefs on tri power plans for cooperation in Balkans or Near East. Minute plans drafted at Aleppo Syria cover all phases of military activity and strengthen British French forces in the Near East. Hon W A Fallow declared re-elected in Vermilion amid incomplete second count. Parks, Vermilion returning officer, said Fallow leads by 274 and remaining polls cannot change the result. He is the seventh of Premier Aberhart's eight-man cabinet to win.

A six month training period ended with a display on the Medicine Hat Badminton Club floor last night.
