Alberta man injured after washout swallows highway
Creston Alberta, Tuesday. Bill Nielson of Calgary, 22, was injured when his car crashed into a washout on the southern Trans-Provincial highway north of Creston. The washout is about 200 feet long and 30 feet deep. A witness said the car soared fifty to sixty feet before landing. Bus driver Tony Melusi helped Nielson from the wreck and warned traffic. Water fills the hole about three feet deep.
