Robert Stadnyk, former pharmacist manager at Medicine Hat Co-op Pharmacy, pleaded guilty to taking secret commissions totaling over 730000 dollars from 2010 to 2015. He received a two year minus one day sentence with 18 months house arrest and the rest under curfew. Judge LeGrandeur noted the stigma and public-spirited return to the community.
