London report says two former Canadian diplomats Herbert Norman and John Watkins are identified in Chapman Pincher's They Trade is Treachery as having spied for the KGB. Norman allegedly recruited at Cambridge and died after exposure. Watkins allegedly active in Moscow and later blackmailed, with key evidence from a 1963 defector.

Ottawa embass y bugging claim in Pincher book

British author Chapman Pincher charges that Canadian intelligence tried to install eavesdropping gear in the Soviet Embassy in Ottawa during its 1954 rebuilding.
