A large turnout at City Hall approved forming the Medicine Hat and District Horse Breeders Association. A twelve member directorate was elected with W. D. Watson as secretary treasurer, H. N. Cavan as president, and T. H. Tinney as vice president. The group aims to unite buyers and sellers, establish office registration, and promote market prices for local horses. Ottawa March 26 Louis Napoleon Pelletier 24 a farm laborer was found guilty of manslaughter by a Carleton County jury for the murder of Miss Mary Kilgoyle 80 at a lonely Manotic Ontario farm house on January 6. The victim was found with her head crushed apparently by an axe. Sentence was deferred.
