A Moose Jaw man received a three year sentence for an offense against a 14 year old girl. A coroner's inquest was opened to investigate the Woodbine Hotel fire in Toronto.
Edmonton honors Henry Allan Gray as the first bishop of the new diocese of Edmonton. Most Reverend Matheson led the consecration with Bishop Pinkham of Calgary assisting. About 250 attendees from across the city and province witnessed the ceremony.
