Well Known Citizen Jacob Purmal Dies in Medicine Hat
The death of 39 year old Jacob Purmal occurred yesterday at his home at the Purmal brickyards after months of illness from pulmonic disease and heart trouble. He leaves a widow two sons and a brother in Medicine Hat plus his parents. Purmal founded a brick contracting business and helped establish Purmal Brothers with Pruitt bricks before illness halted activity. Funeral is set for tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery. he was a Baptist and AO U W member.
