Aspirin May Cut Some Cancer Rates In Lab Studies

Scientists at the American Association for Cancer Research conference in Toronto report aspirin may reduce tumors in lab mice treated with cigarette carcinogens. Andre Castonguay of Laval University notes a 53 percent shrinkage after adding an aspirin-like drug Sulindac, while cautions remain that quitting smoking is still vital. Dr Mack Ruffin of the University of Michigan also cites evidence linking regular aspirin use to lower colon cancer risk.

Wolves Begin Reintroduction in Yellowstone Park Pens
