Alberta sets 8.7 billion budget for 1982 83

Alberta Treasurer Lou Hyndman unveiled an 8.7 billion dollar budget for 1982 83 forecasting a 30.1 percent rise in spending over the prior year with a 758 million dollar deficit carried on paper funded from the surplus. Balanced Saskatchewan budget faces election goodies
