T Hopper is named president of the Canadian Club succeeding Dr MacDonald at the annual meeting in City Hall. Officers include H Ireland as first vice president A LePage as second vice president L J Williams as literary secretary J T Cuyler as secretary W J Johnson as treasurer Rev A S Tuttle as chaplain and others. Major Brown praised patriotism and urged engaging young men, stressing club duties to country and migrant responsibilities.
