Alberta Attorney General Ken Rostad announced a stay of proceedings in the second degree murder charge against Wilson Nepoose and said no public inquiry is planned. The Alberta Court of Appeal ordered a new trial for Nepoose over concerns of miscarriage of justice in the 1986 murder of Marie Rose Desjarlais.
