Suffield gas plan cited as long term benefit for Medicine Hat

Environment Minister Bill Yurko says the new provincial natural gas production and environmental protection plan for the Suffield range will bring enormous long term benefits to Medicine Hat, outweighing short term gains from the British Army training program. Military shift from Suffield hinted by Getty

Edmonton’s Inter-governmental Affairs Minister Don Getty suggested in the Alberta legislature that Ottawa and Edmonton may consolidate defence operations in Alberta possibly ending multiple camps and centralizing at a single base. Warranty plan seen for house buyers

Canada aims to decide ICCS fate amid Vietnam trip

Richardson says Suffield drill may not clash with British training
