Alberta threatens to cut oil supply to Ontario refineries
Alberta may refuse to sell crude to Petrosar Ltd. and Suncor Inc. in Sarnia, alleging they produce and export heavy fuel oil rather than upgrading it. Beginning April 1 the APMC can allocate oil to refiners on an individual basis, with conditions for purchases and possible refinery shutdowns if supplies are cut off.
