Canada ends Afghanistan mission after long war effort
The last 100 Canadian Forces soldiers conclude duties in Afghanistan with a flag lowering at Kabul. The tally includes 158 soldiers, one diplomat, one journalist and two civilian contractors killed. A Harris Decima survey shows 58 percent knew Canada still ran a mission. two thirds feel it is too soon to judge success or failure.
