School Bus and Car Crash Halts Traffic in Medicine Hat
A Volkswagen Rabbit lost control on a hill and crossed the centre line colliding with a 20 passenger Cornerstone Christian school bus on Wednesday around 3 30. No injuries were reported, seven children aged five to 12 aboard the bus remained calm, and the car driver 17-year-old female was charged with driving at an unreasonable speed. Damages were about 1000 for the car and 2000 for the bus.

Ottawa man lights van on fire after jump-start failure
Ottawa CP reports 37 year old Mark Knappers set his van ablaze in the street after a failed gas stop and a $20 boost charge. Police say the incident followed the van running out of gas and a dead battery. Firefighters responded and Knappers was charged with mischief.
