An unusual number of petty larcenies were reported. J Prasow reports a garage break in at 976 Queen Street with tools taken. E P Riley’s bicycle valued at 20 dollars disappeared from 344 First Street. Chocolate bars and gum worth about four dollars were stolen from the skating rink. Freedman’s Groceteria saw twenty dollars in silver stolen from under the counter and various cigarettes and playing cards. The rear store door was left unlocked after the theft and bolting observed to be improper.
