The second annual Medicine Hat Horse Sale opened at the old Lean Lumber Yard under the Chamber of Commerce. Bidding was brisk with 415 horses entered and over 100 sales by noon at an average price of 30. Top prices reached 117 for a horse owned by J. Mitchell and 100 for one entered by J.
