Forger Given Three Year Term by District Court
G. E. Allen pleaded guilty before Judge Green at the District Court to forgery and uttering and was sentenced to three years on each count to run concurrently. Woman Frozen To Death In Blizzard In Newfoundland
The frozen body of Mrs. Wesley Pardy was found after a blizzard near Seal Cove, White Bay. David Wells, who rode out the storm for eight hours, survived after reaching land. He and Mrs. Pardy were traveling from Seal Cove to Wild Cove when the blizzard overtook them.
