A provincial bond guarantee of about 1 885 000 is planned with a land area of 96 000 acres of which 60 000 are irrigable. Construction cost 1 788 657 and bond discounts raise total obligation to about 1 883 000 with annual carrying charges around 0.8c per acre. The engineer backs the project and the first reading of the Act is set for Monday afternoon.
