The Alberta Association of Builders' Exchanges opened its fourth annual convention at Medicine Hat city hall with about 40 delegates. Chicago March 2 A flat offer of 65000 for three seasons as manager of a Federal league team was wired today to Christy Mathewson of the New York Giants by President Gilmore of the Federal league.
Chris Mathewson today signed with the New York National League team, finalizing his contract in Marlin Texas after meeting with President Hempstead of the New York club.
Secretary Bryan and Paraguayan Minister Velazquez signed the fourteenth of Mr. Bryan's peace treaties in Washington marking ongoing progress on the initiative.
