City to rebate gas customers after bylaws error
Medicine Hat will issue a 485000 rebate to customers with no fixed price after two months due to an omitted 120 day rolling average formula in gas default rate bylaws passed last December. The city will revert to the prior Alberta average RRO method retroactively to Jan 1 with rebates applied as billing credits.
