Four Fort Saskatchewan escapees sought in Western Canada

Sugar metric changes top February Canadian prices in five cities

In a 12 city Canadian Press survey seven cities moved to metric sugar bags while five retained five pound packaging. Vancouver Saint John Quebec Montreal Ottawa and Vancouver show non metric sugar. Prices for beef, wieners, pork, chicken, eggs, milk, bread and produce accompany the sugar notes.

AEC Signs Exploration Deal In Suffield Block

Alberta Energy Company Ltd signs a multi area exploration pact with Westcoast Petroleum Ltd to drill 26 wells in 170 square miles of the Suffield block at no cost to AEC. Deeper horizons will be shared 50 50 or 70 30 depending on funding for follow up development. Shallow gas development to drill about 200 wells on 100000 acres costs $16 million with gas sales expected early 1977.
