Long Arm of the Law Reaches Ed Harlton

Toronto reports Edward Harlton, charged with fatally shooting Constable John Waddell in London Ontario on September 12 1925, was arrested at a Norval farm after a brief escape attempt. Waddell died moments after the confrontation as police moved to detain Harlton for chicken theft.

Detroit March 1 The $1,000,000 libel case of Aaron Sapiro Chicago attorney and agricultural organizer against Henry Ford and the Dearborn Independent was postponed to March 16. Opening was set for next Monday. The suit stems from Dearborn Independent articles accusing co operative groups backed by Sapiro of personal profit and of acting as a conspiratorial agent to control agriculture.

Grain Inspections Report From Winnipeg Trade
