A guilty plea to possession of child pornography was entered in provincial court with sentencing set for September 28 after pre sentencing reports. A 2010 homicide case remains unresolved as talks stall with no plea yet and a Crown request to adjourn for review.
The provincial court heard that Michael Frances Reimer, 26, stole nearly $600 from a Boston Billiards waitress's reach caddy on Feb 2, 2021, and was arrested two days later after an officer recognized him. He received 600 days in jail and restitution was ordered. Buluk was taken into custody and later found in medical distress in his cell. an autopsy by Dr. Michael Belenky faced scrutiny as Desfarlais awaits a next court appearance in August.
