William Hess age 39 admitted the nude theft plan after being found inside Miller’s greenhouse in Lisbon New York by a passerby. State troopers detained him in Ogdensburg and cited he stripped to avoid description as he took a tree and three pots of flowering kale.
Police say a 24 year old girl was abducted from a Calgary yard Saturday and sexually assaulted. She was found 90 minutes later near a schoolyard by youths playing basketball. A man with a metal detector seen nearby may have witnessed the incident. he is not a suspect. Investigators want to interview him as they search for the attacker.
Alberta Lt Governor Gordon Towers 75 was rushed by ambulance to University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton after heat pains and shortness of breath following an official function. He had a stroke five years ago and remains in stable condition.
