Blotter treatment planned for 150 miles of Alberta highways
Alberta ministers announce blotter surfacing for about 150 miles of highways this year. Waterton-Calgary stretch will gain 85 miles, leaving an 80 mile gap between Okotoks and Macleod for complete rebuilding aiming for a hard surfaced highway from the international boundary to Banff next year. Also 50 miles on the Edmonton Calgary route and 15 miles on the trans Canada road east of Calgary will be blottered.
