St Jean Baptiste Day Celebrated Across Medicine Hat
In Medicine Hat a St. Jean Baptiste Day celebration gathered several dozen people at the Moose Lodge for barbeque games and live music. Tracy Wallingford of the Association Canadienne Francaise de l Alberta noted the 30 year tradition and hoped for unity between French and English Canadians. Young Emilie MacFarlane enjoyed handing out flags and making people laugh at the event.
