New Cypress Hills camp facility opens near Elkwater
A new $105,000 group camping complex in Cypress Hills Provincial Park near Elkwater was officially opened by Tom Drinkwater. The central $65,000 building includes a kitchen, fireplace and indoor recreation area and can host up to 75 people weekly with 13 tent platforms and washrooms. The facility charges $20 per day and aims to unify park camping, with future plans for another campground and an outdoor education amphitheatre.
