At Sunnyside amusement park in Toronto four riders fell from a moving whoopee wheel when a broken steel pin halted the device. One man John Kemp horny, under treatment with internal injuries, sister Elizabeth Bales with a fractured skull and pelvis, and Frank Balne and Jack Balne reported in fair condition. Fourteen others were removed safely as cars toppled onto a fence fifteen feet below.

New Coal Mine Opens in Lethbridge Field Alberta
A contract for a new coal mine in the Lethbridge field was awarded today. When developed, it will cost about half a million dollars, be fully electrified, and produce about 1000 tons daily.
