Allied powers prompt complete government resignation in Greece after demanding swift reforms. King Constantine asks former premier Zaimis to form a new cabinet as allies take stern measures to compel authorities to meet their demands.
The Greek cabinet resigns under Allied pressure as King Constantine meets ex-Premier Zalmis to discuss forming a new government. Allies threaten drastic measures if Greece does not comply. Kaiser heads to Verdun from Berlin amid ongoing Western Front actions as French and British forces report heavy activity and Russian successes boost Allied morale.
Washington reports strong European pressure on General Carranza to avoid breaking with the United States. A Wilson note demanding U S withdrawal from Mexico and warning of grave consequences was sent to Mexico City, while refugee trains are planned from Mexico City to Vera Cruz as tensions rise toward possible war.

Glasses funded. replacement allowed if breakage not due to negligence. Training updates include a new miniature range and staff changes: Captains Allen Graham and Tisdale reassigned.
About 200 officers petty officers bluejackets and marines passed through the city last night from the old country en route to the coast. Many wore medals from the South African War and some have seen action in the present conflict. They looked smart in their uniforms and are believed to be from H.M.S. Pem broke.
