Sad Fatal Drowning at Brooks Brooks
A seven year old boy, Lewis Howard Sands, son of the irrigation project chief engineer, drowned in a brook near his Brooks home. Local reports say cramps caused the drowning, despite nearby help. The funeral is led by Mr. Jessop Nott of Medway and burial is planned for tomorrow at the cemetery.
