Nimitz crash probe cites pilot error amid drug concerns
Pentagon officials told a House hearing that none of the flight deck crew killed in the Nimitz crash helped land the plane. Yet half of the 14 dead carried marijuana traces, prompting Rep Addabbo to warn of a wider drug problem in the armed forces. The Navy plans expanded drug checks, dog teams, and new marijuana tests, while noting legal limits on expelling users.
