Two Seattle disc jockeys Kent Phillips and Alan Budwill fooled The Seattle Times by submitting a fake wedding announcement with them in bride and groom regalia. The hoax aimed to trigger an on air contest paying $100 to a listener who spotted the photo.
Statistics Canada reports April exports rose to 12 billion led by automotive products and imports climbed to 11.2 billion, up 678 million, narrowing the merchandise trade surplus to 892 million from 1.05 billion in March.
