City takes over Medicine Hat transit for 97000

The city has bought Medicine Hat Transportation Company for 97000. It acquires 13 buses including four from last year, all other equipment, and buys out the three owners. Fare prices stay unchanged. bus drivers get a 25 cent hourly raise now, with no further raises for five years. The move is expected to save operating costs and reduce fuel taxes.
