Auto mishap near Woodrow leaves Mrs Moore drowned
At Woodrow Saskatchewan on June 19 Mrs G H Moore lost control on a hill four miles northeast of Woodrow and the car rolled into the Wood River. Mrs Lohman of Saskatoon standing on the running board and holding Moore’s five year old and a seven year old saved them before rescue came. Mrs Moore’s body was recovered an hour later.

Sorel Quebec June 19 Henri Messier 19 slayer was hanged in the courtyard of the legal jail for the November murder of Emile Pelletier butcher beaten so severely the victim died in hospital. Dufault who was to hang with Messier received a reprieve from Ottawa late yesterday after noon his sentence commuted to life imprisonment. Messier was not told of the reprieve and died believing Dufault would hang too.
