Medicine Hat SPCA facility plan faces higher costs
The City of Medicine Hat considers a 2.2 million top up to 2014 SPCA budget as bids for a 20 000 square foot shelter near the site push costs toward seven to nine million dollars. Officials say the project may require over five million in community and corporate fundraising. Marilyn Crisp says the group faces substantial work to raise the remainder.
