Soldiers injure during live mortar training at Gagetown

Six Royal Canadian Regiment soldiers were wounded when mortar rounds landed among them during a live ammunition drill at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown in New Brunswick. Sgt Shaun Corkery suffered critical but stable back and stomach injuries while Pte Darin Parsons and two others were treated for various injuries in Oromocto and Fredericton hospitals.
