Jays sign Greg David first round pick to Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays announce the signing of catcher Greg David, their top pick from the previous week's free agent draft. The 17 year old left handed hitter hit .460 with seven home runs and 36 RBIs for Barren Collier High in Naples Florida. He will join Medicine Hat in the Pioneer League and report Friday.
