Three Mine Workers Escape Injury On Meline Railway Incident

Heroic Rescue at Main Street Crossing
On Tuesday morning Mr J C Colter and Mr J H G Bray rushed to save Assyrian peddler Rabinovice from being crushed by a moving freight train. Colter crawled between cars to grip the man as the train began to move, Bray helped prevent further danger, and the peddler sustained crushed toes before being taken to the General Hospital for treatment. Colter’s selfless act drew praise from witnesses.
