Explosion Levels Cottage Injures Local Boy
A 13 year old Medicine Hat boy Elliot Meier escaped death when a morning explosion levelled a wooden bungalow owned by E J Craudson and his sister Mrs T Nicoll at 1193rd St N E. He was burned in the head arms and shoulders and crawled through basement debris after the blast around 6 30 am. Neighbour Anton Gutfriend reported seeing him emerge from the basement windows with the house extensively damaged and fire kept under control as gas inspectors and firemen investigated the cause.

Near collision risk exposed aboard Australian carrier
