Edmonton June 6. Alberta Government has little direct link to the Provincial Hail Insurance Board beyond the annuity guarantee. Solon Low, provincial treasurer, says the board may suspend operations due to trouble arranging bank credits. Government would resume guarantee from 1937, typically about 275000 dollars, while the board remains autonomous within a municipal setup.

Decoration Day Ceremony Draws Large Canadian Legion Turnout
The Canadian Legion held a Decoration Day ceremony with veterans gathering at the club rooms at 2 15 p m then marching to the Riverside Park cenotaph. After two minutes of silence Chaplain Rev J F Butcher offered a prayer. The Last Post sounded and wreaths were placed at the monument by President H Weightman and Mrs J Burden. Reveille ended the park service and veterans moved to Hillside Cemetery for a brief service and geraniums on graves. Rev J F Butcher spoke of commemorating loved ones and nations through monuments and rituals.
