Expos Guerrero headed to DL with back injury
Montreal Expos outfielder Vladimir Guerrero has a herniated disc and is likely headed to the disabled list after an MRI. GM Omar Minaya said a second opinion will confirm the diagnosis, a blow as the Expos struggle with weak offense and an eight of nine skid. Guerrero, hitting .301 with eight homers and 33 RBIs, missed time with a back problem and returned briefly but remained uneasy.
