ASIRT clears Medicine Hat cops in two shootings
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team ruled the MHPS shootings in Ross Glen in September 2013 and on Range Road 60 in March were justified with no criminal charges for the officers. Purvis noted the March death involved an armed man who confronted a policeman. the last fatal MHPS shooting prior to these was in 1969.
