HAT Smart opens Wednesday with incentives for upgrades and solar projects. Existing customers may choose surface upgrade hot water sink upgrade or insulation upgrade with provincial rebates available for the others. New home builders homeowners may apply for incentives ranging from 1500 to 10000 depending on rating, with Alberta matching. Commercial incentives offer up to 5000 for conservation upgrades and up to 5000 for solar or renewable energy installations. Applications supported for nonprofit groups as well.
CORE's eighth annual Unified Motorpyete Chit International bike run will be held in the Medicine Hat area Saturday June 18. Riders depart from Al Sobys atia in groups of four or five, ride to How Island and return to the CORE head starers in Medicine Hat for lunch.
